A fight over native fishing rights has been won by five indigenous nations in Canada.
The Supreme Court there has recognised that the Nuu-chah-nulth collective in Vancouver can catch and sell its own fish.
Nuu-chah-nulth has been taking legal action against Canada for more than 10 years, saying their people are dependent on the sea for food and their economies.
The tribes say its aboriginal right is now final and constitutionally protected, and they now expect the Canadian Government to get serious about negotiating over fishing areas.
