Voluntary euthanasia bill soon in Tasmania

Legislation enabling voluntary euthanasia could be in place in Tasmania by this time next year.
A discussion paper is soon to be released and the ABC reports the response is expected to be overwhelming.
Researchers have visited Holland to see mobile assisted-suicide vehicles there, and Switzerland.
The legislation is to be introduced by State premier Lara Giddings.
