The Queen has cancelled a planned visit to Wales because of a bout of gastroenteritis.
Queen Elizabeth II had been due to attend a military celebration in the city of Swansea to mark St David's Day, the national day of Wales.
Buckingham Palace said no decision had yet been made on her trip to Rome later this week, where she is due to meet Italy's President Giorgio Napolitano.
The Queen, who is 86, has rarely missed a royal engagement because of ill health in recent years.
