Emmy-winning drama 24 about a counter terrorist agent is to return to US TV.
Producer David Fury said the show will run on the Fox television network for 12 episodes.
24 concluded its run on Fox in 2010 after eight series, which began in 2001.
According to Deadline, a Hollywood magazine, actor Kiefer Sutherland is in talks to reprise his role as agent Jack Bauer.
The BBC reports Sutherland appeared in all 192 episodes, with each series covering 24 hours, using a real time method of narration.
