Suicide bombers set off two car bombs at a funeral in Baghdad early on Saturday evening, killing 50 people.
The BBC reports the bomb was detonated near a tent filled with mourners in the Shi'ite stronghold of Sadr City. Officials said at least 100 people were wounded.
In another incident, al-Sumaria News reported eight civilians were killed and at least 12 wounded when a parked car exploded in the district of Ur in eastern Baghdad.
Earlier on Saturday, 11 people were killed during an assault on a police station in Baiji, north of Baghdad.
Sectarian killings have surged across Iraq in recent months, in part due to the conflict in neighbouring Syria.
