Obama healthcare website still problematic

4:14 pm on 1 December 2013

Technicians in the United States have been working hard to resolve problems with a federal website, essential to President Barack Obama's flagship healthcare reform law.

The White House had earlier promised it would complete its overhaul of the website by the end of Saturday, but admitted on Friday that it wouldn't be fully functional on time, the BBC reports.

It's due to be taken offline on Monday for further maintenance.

The website has faced serious glitches from the start.
