The company said it would be ceasing operations in Jersey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar, but would continue serving the clients who had accounts there.

It is nearly eight weeks since the first reports about the Papers emerged, divulging the contents from nearly four decades of records from Mossack Fonseca's computer archives.

Fresh Panama Papers revelations about New Zealand will be released about 6am tomorrow morning.

That investigation is by journalists from RNZ, One News and investigative journalist Nicky Hager.

It has been carried out with the assistance of the International Consortium of Investigative journalists and the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.
