NZer still sought for assault in NSW two years ago

Police in New South Wales are still searching for a New Zealand man in connection with a bashing that left the victim permanently brain-damaged.

In court in Sydney on Wedesday, Thomas Isaako was sentenced to 19 years in prison for attacking Irishman David Keohane two years ago, and for a second attack on a student.

Mr Keohane was unconscious for 218 days with multiple facial and skull fractures. He will be in a wheelchair the rest of his life.
