The Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands says he is confident his new coalition can provide stable government.
Danny Philip made the comments after veteran politician Snyder Rini accepted the Planning Ministry portfolio.
Mr Philip says it is a difficult exercise to keep six to eight political groupings together.
After swearing in all but three ministers last week, the tussle over who should take over the finance portfolio was settled with Gordon Darcy Lilo being appointed, Radio New Zealand International reports.
Mr Rini says he will stay loyal to the Mr Philip's government.
No one has yet been appointed Minister of Police.
