10:18 pm on 11 December 2011

The Queensland premier says senior government officials met on Saturday to discuss the implications of the Queensland health fraud case for other departments.

The ABC reports police are still searching for health executive, Joel Barlow, also known as Hohepa Morehu-Barlow, who is wanted for questioning over $16 million missing in public funds.

Investigators believe the 36-year-old New Zealander could still be in Queensland, in hiding.

Premier Anna Bligh says the director general of Queensland Health has held talks with the crime and misconduct commission and health officials.
