The stock price for Apple Computer in the United States is setting new records following rumours Apple is creating a new device: a tablet-style computer that will probably be called the iSlate.
The company is not commenting but the name "iSlate" has been registered as a trademark by an attorney associated with Apple, CNN reports.
The company's shares closed up more than 3% at $209.04 on the Nasdaq on 24 December, the stock's highest ever price.
