Christchurch Memorial Service

The official memorial service for victims of the February 22 Christchurch earthquake held in Hagley Park on Friday 18 March 2011.

The service started at 12:30 and was led by the Reverend Peter Beck of Christchurch Cathedral and includes tributes from His Royal Highness Prince William, the Mayor of Christchurch Bob Parker, the Governor-General Sir Anand Satyanand, the Prime Minister John Key and the Leader of the Opposition Phil Goff.
