The Former First Lady of American Samoa, Nora Coleman, passed away in Hawaii last night.
Mrs Coleman died at the age of 85, after being admitted to Queens Hospital in Honolulu a week ago following a cerebral haemorrhage.
Mrs Coleman was the widow of American Samoa's first locally elected Governor, Uifaatali Peter Coleman.
The two had 13 children.
Funeral services for Mrs Coleman are planned for May the 20th in Hawaii.
