7:56 pm on 5 June 2017

The estimated 200 nurses at the Commonwealth Health Center in the Northern Marianas are set to have a salary increase to help retain staff.

The Center's chief executive officer Esther Muña has declined to reveal how big a hike there will be but confirmed that an increase would happen.

Salaries have been frozen since 2006 and the starting salary of a registered nurse has remained at just under $US25,000 per annum.
