Solomon Islands on alert for African Swine Fever

As Covid-19 cases spike in Papua New Guinea, the country is being gripped by another deadly outbreak that continues to spread. 

African Swine Fever is estimated to have killed between two and three thousand pigs in PNG.

The disease recently spilled over from provinces declared disease areas to Mt Hagen in Western Highlands.
