Auckland Mayor Phil Goff on damaged harbour bridge woes

From First Up, 5:45 am on 23 September 2020

Aucklanders are expecting more long traffic jams this morning with half of the lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge still closed. All south-bound lanes were closed to traffic for eight hours overnight, to allow heavy machinery to access the large truss damaged when a truck was toppled by strong wind on Friday. The south-bound lanes re-opened at 5 o'clock this morning but four central lanes are still closed. The Mayor of Auckland Phil Goff joins Indira Stewart to discuss the ongoing traffic woes this is causing.
