The Facebook Media stoush in Australia explained

After a protracted battle with the Australian Government, Facebook will no longer share content from professional news sources. The tech giant made the extraordinary move in response to new laws that would force it to negotiate with media companies over how much to pay them for news content. Facebook's move will also prevent people overseas sharing Australian content on the social media site. Nathan Rarere spoke with technology commetator Paul Brislen, who's written extensively about the stoush.
