National is scrambling to counter Jacinda Ardern's impact by unveiling a series of big-spending voter-friendly policies.
Former Act Leader Richard Prebble and former Labour Party president Mike Williams join us to discuss the latest from the campaign.
"People are voting today so National are leaving their run very late, and if that's what they're going to run on... You're never going to win an auction with the Labour Party," Richard Prebble says.
Mr Prebble accuses Labour's industrial relations policy of being "communism". Mr Williams replies: "I'm really enjoying this - when the National Party's relying on Richard to put their arguments forward then they must be in trouble."
