Greymouth shooting: Children home when mother killed
The police investigating the fatal shooting of a Greymouth woman are not sure how much her children witnessed but say they were at home at the time. Forty-three-year-old Hayley Williams was killed at a house on Marsden Rd about 4pm on Sunday. A 45-year-old man was arrested after a police hunt that lasted almost 24 hours. He's been charged with murder and is expected to appear in the Greymouth District Court on Tuesday. A Marsden Rd resident says he was at home on Sunday when he heard a loud gun shot.
