'That's how trials work' - Ghahraman on war criminal defence

Green Party MP Golriz Gharaman says she will change information on the Green Party website after admitting it could be clearer about her role in the defence of war criminals. On the website, Ms Ghahraman is described as having put on trial world leaders for abusing their power, and restoring communities after war and human rights atrocities. But it doesn't disclose that she also worked on the legal defence team of some accused, including Joseph Nzirorera, charged with genocide and crimes against humanity in Rwanda. Ms Ghahraman tells Guyon Espiner she wasn't trying to hide anything, and it was part of her team's role to provide all parties with legal representation.
