Manawatu Gorge new route choice delayed

A decision on a new route to replace the landslide-prone Manawatu Gorge road has been delayed. The Transport Agency had hoped to have a final version ready by the end of this year, but now says more work is needed to get a final version. It now expects to have done its analysis by March. Ken Shirley is the chief executive of the Road Transport Forum and joins us with his reaction.
