Milford sewage spill: Questions remain over broken pipe

Residents in the Auckland suburb of Milford are asking why they have to deal with sewage flooding so often after a wastewater pipe broke yesterday. The breakage has been fixed but Residents evacuated from two of the six houses flooded with sewage yesterday are unlikely to be back home before the end of the holiday weekend. And many swimmers at the local beach were unaware of the spill. Watercare's acting chief operations officer Mark Bourne tells Guyon it was one of the biggest sewage spills he's had to deal with.
