Karpichov reportedly also in scuffle with NZ police

From Morning Report, 8:27 am on 28 March 2018

It's emerged the former Russian spy who claims he was targetted by a KGB assassin in Auckland a decade ago was also involved in a scuffle with a New Zealand police surveillance officer he mistook for an intelligence operative. Shortly after the nerve agent attack on former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter earlier this month, another former Russian spy Boris Karpichkov repeated his claims he had been targeted too while in New Zealand in 2006. But police have now said they aren't planning to investigate his claims so far after the event. Morning Report deputy editor Kim Griggs has been in touch with the police and Mr Karpichkov over the latest developments.
