On Sunday an Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed more than two dozen people in the deadliest day in the conflict this week.
The air strike levelled a 13-storey building hosting a number of media offices, including the Gaza bureaus of Al Jazeera television and the Associated Press.
Gaza's health ministry says more than 180 people have died so far. Israeli authorities have reported 10 fatalities.
