A financial expert is urging businesses to take the threat of cyber attacks seriously and do more to protect their firms.
The Fintech New Zealand general manager James Brown says cyber security breaches in this country rose 65 percent last year - with direct financial losses totalling almost $17 million.
Brown says that's just the tip of the iceberg.
He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
