An Auckland medical specialist says a greater awareness is needed about the condition known as Long Covid.
Dr Anna Brookes is a senior lecturer and cellular immunologist at Auckland University.
She said Long Covid was serious and could develop even from mild Covid, with symptoms including breathlessness, fatigue or a racing heart.
Dr Brookes spoke to Philippa Tolley.
