Russia President Vladimir Putin has sought to validate the invasion of Ukraine at a speech during the Victory Parade at the Red Square in Moscow.
There was much speculation Putin would take Victory Day as an opportunity to announce a policy change, or a new direction for Russia's war in Ukraine - but it didn't happen.
