New Zealand finished 4th in triathlon's mixed relay final overnight, in a race where the team in black were in the medal hunt right until the end.
It ends a somewhat disappointing campaign for triathlete Hayden Wilde, who finished second in the men's competition at the weekend.
Wilde had been leading the race, but was forced to take a 10 second time penalty for unclipping his helmet before racking his bike at the final changeover, allowing England's Alex Yee to take the win.
Wilde has lodged a protest about the penalty, which is now being reviewed by World Triathlon.
Corin Dann spoke to Hayden Wilde about his latest event and missing the gold medal podium moment.
