A New Zealand woman who moved to Australia with her son for life-saving cancer treatment is describing the National Party's promise, if elected, to fund new cancer drugs as "wonderful" but "well-overdue".
Last year Pauline and Ben Mulqueeney moved to Queensland to access treatment for Ben's melanoma.
The drug he needed was funded in Australia, but unaffordable in New Zealand.
Mulqueeney spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
