From Morning Report, 9:13 am on 15 October 2023

Te Pāti Māori will be doubling its seats in parliament from two to four.

It's taken three of the seven Māori electorate seats off Labour.

Te Pāti Māori co-leader Rawiri Waititi increased his winning margin in Waiariki; while co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer took Te Tai Hauāuru; Tākuta Ferris took Te Tai Tonga; and in Hauraki-Waikato 21-year-old Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke has ousted Nanaia Mahuta after 15 years.
