Police say delayed footage of the 2019 Christchurch terror attacks was initially thought to be a second attack on Al Noor mosque.
A police commander told the inquest into the deaths of the 51 worshippers on Monday, they did not immediately know if the video they were watching was live.
It's raised questions about whether this contributed to a delay getting help to the injured victims inside the mosque.
