The Israeli Defence Force has confirmed it is responsible for a huge explosion at the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza that has reportedly to have killed dozens and injured many more.
Photos filed by a Reuters photographer show an enormous crater, levelled buildings and bodies being carried out of the rubble.
Jabalia lies in the outer neighbourhoods of Gaza City in the northern part of the strip and had been declared an evacuation zone.
The Hamas-run health ministry says 50 people have been killed.
