The final hand is soon to be dealt in the 2023 election - with the key political players to learn Friday afternoon just what cards they hold - and what leverage.
National, ACT and New Zealand First have spent the past three weeks around the proverbial table as they work towards forming a new government.
But no play can be made until the official election result is locked in.
The Electoral Commission is set to reveal all at 2pm.
