Science

Veronika Meduna joins a team from the Antarctic Heritage Trust to find out more about a project to protect Antarctica's historic huts. She visits Captain Scott's hut at Cape Evans and Ernest Shackleton's hut at Cape Royds with AHT's programme manager Al Fastier and conservator Rob Clendon.

Environment

Dean Williams continues his programme about non-lethal scientific research to determine whale population dynamics.

Health

Louise Wallace meets Mark Vickers from the Liggins Institute, who received the 2006 Hamilton Memorial Prize, from the Royal Society of New Zealand, in recognition of outstanding achievements by a young scientist in the South Pacific.
