For Stan Wolfgramm the annual Westfield Style Pasifika is an opportunity to showcase Polynesians in all their glory - in a for Polynesian by Polynesian kaupapa. Now in its 12th year the artistic director, talks about the history of the festival before describing offences caused when cultural icons such as the tapa cloth are misappropriated.
Based in Kaiapoi, hair and make-up artist Nicole Taikato Wheeler says that when it comes to make-up and hair, 'au natural' is best for Māori.
