The Waitangi Tribunal suggests Maoridom needs a single body to represent all tangata whenua at a national level; The North Island's Whanau Ora Commissioning Agency, Te Pou Matakana, is giving six-million dollars each year to 13 collectives intent on improving socials services in their rohe over the next three years; A Ruapehu tribe is monitoring a local stream to see if a new wastewater treatment plant is getting rid of any micro-organisms such as bacteria, which could be harmful to people's health; Up to about two hundred people attended the unveiling of what's being described as the world's first Te Reo Maori ATM or automated teller machine at a Marae in Hamilton.
