The Small Print
First up this week we've got a cheesy question - what's the difference between most New Zealand-produced camembert and brie? The answer might surprise you. Plus the history of these semi-soft, white-rinded fromages with cheesemonger Martin Aspinwall.

Then at around 12:30pm has cooking made us human? We're speaking to anthropologist and primatologist Richard Wrangham about his new book. He reckons cooking our food has been the single most important factor in mankind's evolution, shaping our brains, teeth, gut and inter-personal relationships.

After the news we're back in the iPlot and this week we finally make our compost pile. After a month spent gathering the right organic matter, today Colin Walker show's me how to build a killer compost heap from scratch.

At 1:35pm a few weeks back we looked at the garden pest the psyllid. We heard that ladybirds are the best way to keep them away (as well as aphids) so we've tracked down a ladybird breeder.

And then before we go bits and bytes from the hi-tech world, and in our final session for the year we'll ask Peter Griffin and Bill Thompson for their top tech picks of 2009 and for some tips on what'll be big in 2010.
