This man has an incredible musical pedigree where the kora has been passed down in his family for over 71 generations - little wonder he has such extraordinary musical skills. Toumani was literally born to play the 21 stringed African harp !. His new album is a collaboration that sees Toumani playing with The London Symphony Orchestra. The album called Kôrôlén, meaning “ancestral” in the Mandingo family of languages will be released in April…It’s a sumptuous blend of kora and classical music.
