New Zealander Logan Campbell has missed out on the quarterfinals of the men's under 68kg category in the taekwondo at the London Olympics.
Campbell was beaten in the preliminary round by a score of 10-6 against Ukraine's Hryhorii Husarov at the ExCel centre on Thursday.
The 26-year-old from Auckland competed in the same division at the Beijing Games in 2008, where he finished in the top 16.
In the women's under 57kg event, New Zealand's Robin Cheong was beaten 17-6 in her preliminary round against Hedaya Wahba from Egypt.
Korean-born Cheong, 23, is competing in her second Games, after finishing seventh in this class at Beijing.
