A man accused of fatally stabbing a South Auckland father of four has been committed to trial.
Sam Simi, 25, is charged with murdering Olo Fiti at Otara in March.
Mr Fiti was stabbed seven times and died at the scene.
Mr Simi was arrested at Auckland Airport a day after the attack about to board a flight to Samoa.
He is due back in court in August.
