State Highway 2 is closed near Mangatawhiri, south of Auckland, following a crash involving three vehicles.
One of the vehicles, a truck carrying fertiliser, rolled.
Traffic is being diverted via Okaeria.
Police say the road is likely to be closed until mid-afternoon at least.
