Principals Association supports action over assault

The Secondary School Principals Association says a Pukekohe school has taken the most extreme action it can following the reported violation of a 15-year-old boy.

Three boys were excluded from Pukekohe High School after they reportedly held the boy down and assaulted him while other students watched.

Secondary School Principals Association president Patrick Walsh told Radio New Zealand's Nine to Noon programme on Tuesday the actions complained of are criminal and should be condemned.

Mr Walsh says the assault is a criminal matter and should be brought before the courts if necessary.
