Stewart ruled out of State of Origin decider

The New South Wales forward Glenn Stewart will miss next Wednesday's State of Origin rugby league decider in Brisbane after failing a fitness test on his injured knee.

The Manly back-rower suffered knee ligament damage playing against the Melbourne Storm two weeks ago and hasn't trained with the rest of the squad since joining Blues camp, having been undergoing intense physiotherapy all week.

He will be replaced by St George Illawarra's Beau Scott.

Queensland has already ruled out Billy Slater, also with knee ligament injury, with Greg Inglis to fill the fullback spot and Dane Nielsen brought into the centres.
