The Wellington Phoenix midfielder Manny Muscat's been suspended for three A-League football matches after elbowing Brisbane Roar player Nick Fitzgerald.
Muscat was charged with violent conduct over the incident late in the side's 2-1 loss to Brisbane on Tuesday and a statement from the Phoenix says they won't be challenging the match review panel's decision.
The ban means Muscat will miss the struggling Phoenix's away match against Melbourne Victory on Saturday and games against Western Sydney and Sydney FC.
