The former All Blacks flanker Daniel Braid is to join English club Sale.
Braid, who's 31, was unwanted by the Blues or any other Super Rugby franchise for this year's competition.
He replaces Sale's former England flanker Hendre Fourie, who's retired because of a shoulder injury.
Sale are currently bottom of the Premiership table.
