Winners and runners up from the past three years will line up to win next month's 2013 Coast to Coast multisport event.
The defending champions Richard and Elina Ussher highlight the draw, the couple becoming the first husband and wife to win the Speight's Coast to Coast in the same year in 2012.
Also on the Kumara Beach start line on February the 9th will be Wanaka's Dougal Allan, the men's runner-up for the past three years, who has been battling a wrist injury, while Christchurch's Luke Vaughan will compete despite being hampered by a shin injury.
Elina Ussher faces one of the most competitive female fields ever seen, with her rematch with 2012 runner-up and fellow Nelson-based athlete Sophie Hart the most anticipated battle this year in the women's event.
