New Zealand have been beaten in tennis' Fed Cup Asia/Oceania zonal women's playoff final against Australia in Perth.
Australia won all three matches in the final.
Australia's top-ranked player Samantha Stosur despatched the world number 57 Marina Erakovic 6-1,6-4, Jelena Dokic beat Diane Hollands 6-4 6-4 and Kairangi Vano/Shona Lee lost to Casey Dellacqua/Rennae Stubbs 6-2 6-2.
Australia have now qualified for a playoff for a spot in the Fed Cup World Group II in April.
