Liverpool have named Steven Gerrard in the squad to face Real Madrid in the first leg of their European Champions League last-16 football match in Spain on Thursday.
Captain Gerrard has been out for three weeks with a hamstring injury picked up during the FA Cup fourth-round replay defeat by Everton on February 4th.
But the 28-year-old took part in training today and is set to travel to the Spanish capital.
Manager Rafael Benetiz says it was a special training session so they didn't test him 100%, but he trained OK so they'll wait and see.
Gerrard was ruled out of the 1-all draw with Manchester City yesterday.
