Country's top ranked alpine skier wins silver in France

The country's top ranked alpine ski racer, Ben Griffin's capped a remarkable comeback to win a silver medal in a FIS Super G race in France.

Griffin fractured his neck last year and took eleven months off after undergoing major surgery but achieved the latest result with just a month's training.

Griffin will return to New Zealand next week for a short break before heading to the South Island to begin his build up for the New Zealand racing season as he looks to qualify for next year's Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
