After widespread speculation over the last few days, Ferrari have made the stunning announcement that Michael Schumacher will replace their injured driver Felipe Massa, if he passes a fitness test.
Ferrari have released a statement saying the seven times world champion will drive Massa's car for as long as the Brazilian is off the scene following his near fatal accident before last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
In the next few days, Schumacher will undergo a specific preparation aimed at driving in the European Grand prix in Valencia on the 23rd of August.
